Cinder — Terms
Terms of use, in plain language.
This site explains the framework for working together. Take your time as you read the information below: it shows what you can expect from us and what we ask of you in return.
01 — The role of this site
Information, not diagnosis
The content here is intended to guide and inform. It does not provide diagnoses or replace a direct assessment. If you're an adult going through change, burnout, anxiety, or emotional blocks, an introductory conversation can help you understand which type of support is right for you.
02 — Scheduling and pace
Sessions are arranged together
Sessions take place in person or online, at times we agree on together. We decide on the frequency after an initial conversation, based on your needs, your pace, and our availability. If you're late, we'll use the time remaining without automatically extending the session.
03 — Cancellations
Let us know in advance if you can't make it
If you can't make it, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the time to someone else. Cancellations made later may be charged in full. Thank you for respecting this arrangement—it helps protect the continuity of your process.
04 — Confidentiality
What adults seeking therapy can expect to remain confidential
Everything you bring to sessions is confidential. The only exceptions are when we're required by law to disclose information or when there is a real risk to your safety or someone else's. You can find details about how we store data on the Privacy page.
05 — Professional boundaries
Adults seeking therapy need clear boundaries
The therapeutic relationship is professional, with clear boundaries around time, roles, and communication. We don't provide emergency support through this site. If you need immediate help, contact emergency services or a crisis line in your area.
06 — Contact
